Root, Root, Root for the Indians........

Tonight we went to the Spokane Indians game. They are the Single A baseball team here in town. Unfortunately in the chaos of needing to nurse Rachel and both Trey and Kyler needing to go potty when we first got there, I managed to leave the camera in the car. I'm not too bummed since we are going back on Monday. LeRoy's office (Spokane Youth Sports Association) has season tickets, which is a great perk! Though I have learned that the price of tickets is minimal compared to the amount of money we spend on food while we are there. Anyways, it was a Azteca Fiesta Firework night, so they had a little firework show after the game was over. The boys thought it was awesome and Rachel only flinched at the booms instead of crying like she did at the air show. Our seats are great because the four seats are set up two in front and two behind with a little bar around it (single A version of Box Seats). The boys climb all around and switch seats, etc. One lady came up to us during the middle of the game to tell us how much fun she was having watching our kids. It seems to me someone told us that last year. I wonder if that was her, too. I'm glad they entertained themselves for the most part so I could watch the game. I just love being at a baseball game with the sound of the ball caught in the catcher's mitt, or crack of the bat, and especially all the cheesy songs they play. It just warms the soul! Too bad we don't live in Seattle so I could enjoy the game while chowing down some Safeco Garlic Fries, my absolutely favorite food on earth!! Maybe next year........

Someday I will learn........

"Mom, look what I found! A delicious chocolate orange that Kyler left on the floor!"

These pictures were taken exactly a week ago.

You would think that I would know by now that if the kids are being quiet then something is probably wrong. Rachel caught me at a week point in which I was trying to stuff done and was just grateful that she wasn't fussing! At least that was the excuse the first time, I have no excuse for the second.

These pictures were taken today. I'm such a different mom from four years ago. I didn't take them away until after pictures.

Is she pleased with herself or what?!?

Notice the hairbow around her neck?

"Boy, Mom, these cheetos Trey left here sure are good!"

What a lucky girl to have such great brothers to leave there food around where she can reach it!

Out of the mouth of babes.......

I am amazed every single day at how quickly Rachel is developing. She now totally has the crawling thing down. She isn't very fast yet, but I know it's only a matter of time. She's taught herself how to pull herself up on things. She's trying to walk along them, but it's usually only a step or two. And my favorite thing is that she is babbling more and more. "Ma ma ba ba ma ma ba ba" It's so fun! The other day I was trying to get her to just say Ma Ma. As I was saying it over and over for her, Trey pipes up and says "No Mom, she only says that when she's crying." I'm afraid it's true. She's reached the point in which her cry sounds exactly like "Ma Ma Ma Ma" I thought it was a very astute observation for him to make.
So, LeRoy's family is in town and our nephew Adam (7) is sleeping in the boys' room. Tonight Adam comes out and says that Kyler is keeping them awake. When LeRoy goes in to ask what's going on Kyler says, "They're bothering me. "How are they bothering you, Kyler" "They're trying to make me be quiet....They're saying bad words" "What bad words are they saying?" Disgusted Kyler responds, "Be quiet." I must say that if I were two and didn't want to go to sleep, I would probably thing that "be" and "quiet" in combination would be very bad words to here! As LeRoy was leaving Kyler started talking to his stuffed dog named Peanut. LeRoy told him to go to sleep or he was going to take him away. "It's not a him, it's a her." What a goofball! Oh, how I love the things my little ones say!

I'm baaaaack!

So thanks to another good friend and the wonders of Youtube, we were able to hack into my computer to find the password one of my dearest friend changed, in an attempt to encourage more working and less playing, and then could only remember the gist of the password. As you can imagine, remember the gist of it didn't help us much. Either way it did help me realize just how much time I was spending on the computer and hopefully I will be able to keep that a little more under control. Really not much happened while I was gone. Kyler and Trey have been getting along pretty well. Though today when Trey was trying to take over while Kyler was playing on the computer, Kyler yelled "It's MY game!" I think it was so funny to me mostly because I stopped to ponder on just how many times I am sure to hear that phrase over the next 15+ years! We went to Skyfest yesterday at Fairchild Air Force Base and got to see the Blue Angels. The boys absolutely loved it, but Rachel wasn't a big fan even with ear plugs in. I'm sure that has something to do with the ear infection she's fighting due to the arrival of her first tooth! She followed right along suit with her brothers requiring an ear infection when teeth come up. I'm just glad we got a tooth this time since she's already had four or five ear infections without any! I thought for sure the top were gonna come first, but nope she just has one little bottom thing. It's just so cute when teeth come! Good thing because the fussy crying could make a mama nuts.

Computer troubles......

I apologize for the lacks of posts lately. I am having computer issues and can only get on the internet at my mom's. I'm hoping to have it taken care of soon. Hope you all are doing well!
